Any father or mother is welcome to practices to assist the coaches.
I emphasize the word assist because I have observed high school ball where some parents feel they need to instruct the coaches how to coach. The coaches will entertain friendly suggestions but will not take kindly to being told how to run the team. That's what we get paid the big bucks for. If there are any issues, please talk to the coach in private. We will listen.

Practice times are unofficially Tuesday and Thursday at 6:33. There may be some changes during May because of school functions and High School games. I will text all players of any deviations to this. It will be week to week until the season starts May 31st. Please be flexable.

Baseball sign up was held on Monday March 19 from 6 PM - 7 PM and Saturday March 24 from 9 AM - 10:30 AM. If you missed it and wish to play contact Chris Lensmeyer or Ray Berres listed under committee members and directors to find out if there are openings on the team you are eligible for. Two of the forms are posted at the bottom of this page. 
You can print them, fill out in advance and bring in on sign up days. This is not electronic sign up. Parent and player must still attend one of the sign up dates. Looking for a huge turn out. We will again run the Football Frenzy raffle. It was very successful because of you. Everyone is expected to sell some tickets. Money raised helps maintain the park and ball diamonds.We're expecting an even more successful 2012 raffle.
The Branch Youth Tournament dates are July 18 - 22. Parent volunteer work times can be requested at sign up. Everyone is expected to help a couple hours or more.

RECREATIONAL ASSOC.
Semi-ANNUAL MEETING
THURSDAY July 26, 2012
7:00 PM at the Branch Ball Park Building
The Association through its board of directors is responsible for the operation of the park. The Baseball Committee coordinates and runs the softball and baseball program at the park. The efforts of a large number of volunteers over the years have enabled thousands of area youth to participate in these sports here at Branch. Please consider attending this meeting to provide your input. Membership in the association is $1 per year and is open to anyone over 18 yrs. old.
We are also asking our community members to consider stepping forward and volunteering their names to be considered for nomination to the board or volunteering to serve on the baseball committee. If you would be willing to serve, please contact a member of the board or the baseball committee, or call Dale at 732-3522.
The annual meeting will include reports from your Board of Directors on the operation of the park as well as the financial report for the first half of 2012. Also new inductees for the Wall of Honor will be revealed. We look forward to your attendance.
